Exploring our potential for prosperity
đź‘‹ Hi there! My name is Andrew and I'm an economist exploring what we can do to promote our wellbeing. The insights on this site draw from decades of research by a growing network of economists, legal scholars, and financial practitioners who have advanced our understanding of money, banking, and finance, opening new perspectives on our potential for prosperity in the 21st Century.
I pay close attention to well-reasoned concepts and analyses that have a proven track record with accurate prognoses. Join us for a collaborative, non-dogmatic exploration of financial macroeconomics to better understand what's truly possible for our individual and collective wellbeing– all in plain English. (Say hello!)
About the author
My interests in all things money, banking, & finance started as an undergrad while studying Environmental Science in Lugano, Switzerland. That fascination grew while studying for a Master's at The Levy Institute at Bard College (home to the living intellectual legacies of Minsky and Godley) where I was able to dive deeper into financial macro, monetary policy, and the history of economic thought with scholars including Jan Kregel, L. Randall Wray and Dimitri Papadimitriou.
I've had the pleasure of working as a legislative aide in the Colorado State Senate and more recently as a research consultant with think tanks in Washington, DC including Better Markets, the Center for Economic and Policy Research (CEPR), Action Aid, and The Bretton Woods Project.
